We're looking for a Logistics Dispatcher to join our operations team. We're not just looking for someone to fill a position—we're looking for someone who wants to help grow our business and make an impact every day.

Volk Transfer is a family-owned and operated transportation company. In 1997, we launched Volk Logistics, a wholly owned division providing comprehensive logistics services that complement our asset-based transportation network. From truckload and flatbed to rail and everything in between, we help customers move freight across the United States.

• Dispatch, route, and track freight with outside carriers
• Build relationships with carrier partners
• Negotiate rates and coordinate transportation
• Schedule freight pickups and deliveries
• Monitor shipments and maintain accurate dispatch records
• Post available loads on DAT and other online load boards
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure freight moves efficiently

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn

No previous logistics or dispatch experience is required. We'll provide the training—you bring the motivation, work ethic, and desire to succeed.

Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Occasional early mornings or extended hours may be required based on business needs.
