We’re looking to hire a Custodial Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout Volk’s facilities. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all assigned areas meet established cleanliness and sanitation standards while contributing to a healthy and welcoming workplace for our team and visitors.

Responsibilities you’ll own:

• Clean and sanitize offices, dispatch areas, driver lounges, restrooms and showers, and break rooms
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and maintain office floors and common areas
• Empty trash, recycling, and designated disposal containers
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of entryways and hallways
• Report safety hazards, spills, or facility maintenance issues promptly
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policies
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly

Experiences and requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums, etc.)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling and cleaning techniques
• Good communication skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Compensation and Benefits:

•  $15.28 - $22.90/hour

This job currently is an on-site position. It may require occasional work outside of typical business hours to accommodate facility needs and company events. This role requires the use of cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment may vary depending on the area of the facility and equipment being used. The employee may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, lift, and carry items while performing custodial duties.
