Job Overview:
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department by administering HR policies, procedures, and programs. This role works across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and performance management to ensure a positive employee experience and smooth organizational operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with job postings, resume screening, and applicant communication.
- Coordinate interviews and support hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Prepare offer letters and conduct new hire orientation.
- Manage onboarding process to ensure smooth transitions for new employees.
- Serve a s point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
- Support investigations and document employee relations issues as needed.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Maintain employee records in HRIS systems.
- Process personnel changes, terminations, and documentation updates.
- Prepare reports related to headcount, turnover, attendance, etc.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions.
- Coordinate open enrollment and benefits communications.
- Work with payroll on compensation changes and audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist with policy development and implementation.
- Support training initiatives such as harassment prevention and safety.
- Support performance review processes and track completion.
- Assist with learning and development programs.
- Maintain job descriptions.
- Contribute to HR initiatives related to engagement, wellness, and culture.
- Participate in continuous improvement of HR processes and tools.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of HR experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $29.00 - $35.00/hour
